there are treatments but i dont know if they work well or not, stop using fake nails women!!!! no point in killing yourself over vanity.

LAMisil is HARMFUL. there is another brand out there that starts with a P, I think. You have to get it from your dermatologist or podiatrist. maybe you can find the name on the internet but you still have to get it from one of your doctors.

If its just a simple infection like from a hangnail then yeah goto CVS or any drugstore and look 4 Dr Scholls brand nail fungus remover, but if ur talking about dark or thick, or yellow toe nail infection, then Lamasil is that prescription stuff u would need, but it does have a risk of liver issues, but first try soaking ur feet in Epson Salts u can get that at the drugstore also, then try wiping each toe nail with Peroxide at night see if that helps, most of all make sure that ur feet are dry after u get out the shower, and B4 u put on any shoes! This sort of fungus has been said to respond to such things as topical applications of Vicks Vapor Rub and tea tree oil. Once you see clear nail; growing up out of the nail bed you must continue the application until the nail has grown out completely. IF you were to apply any sort of anti-fungul(even dollar store stuff) it will eventually work. The prescription stuff is just stronger and store bought lamisil was a script about three years ago.
BTW: All this fungus you see is a result of a systemic fungal growth which feeds on the sugar and carbs you eat. If you were to go on some sort of low carb(not NO carb) food plan it would help speed up the process and perhaps forestall further overgrowth appearing in your nails.
